The Bargello palace, originally a political building, then a prison and a place of torture, is now home to one of the most beautiful art collections in the world, unfortunately not known and valued as much as it deserves.

After the resounding success of the first tour on mysterious and esoteric Florence, Samuele takes you back to discover the secrets of the city.

 

You will visit the church of Santa Trinita, a casket of wonderful treasures, with particular attention to the Sassetti Chapel, testimony of Renaissance initiations to ancient mystery cults.

 

You will then discover that, perhaps, Leonardo was not the son of a notary from Vinci but the secret half-brother of Lorenzo the Magnificent and that America was not discovered by Christopher Columbus but by other characters, including the Medici family.

Cosimo I de’Medici towards the middle of the 16th century cultivated the dream of creating a big family pantheon in the church of San Lorenzo in Florence.

 

We will follow the path that from the first burials of his ancestors will take us to the current set-up of the Medici Chapels, through centuries of history and art.

We will visit the amazing Cappella dei Principi with its “stone paintings” and discover what philosophical and spiritual messages are contained in the Sacrestia Nuova created by the great Michelangelo.
