POMPEII

AN ANCIENT CITY FROZEN IN TIME

The eruption of the Mount Vesuvius completely buried the city in 79 a.d., preserving it. It was buried until 1748, when the excavations begun, under the reign of Charles III of Bourbon. Pompeii is an extraordinary archeological heritage, unique in the whole world.

The streets, private and public buildings, objects, people, animals… everything reminds us of the life of this city in the past that we can still perceive nowadays.

Pompeii is the most fascinating proof of an ancient city frozen in time. Let’s discover it together.

Visits will be presented by local tourist guide Maria Lourdes.

ESOTERIC NAPLES

THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL CITY IN ITALY AND PROBABLY IN THE WORLD

This tour won’t be just a guided tour, but also a kind of tale using the Neapolitan language.

Our journey begins with the miracle of the liquefaction of St. Januarius’blood and continues with the Sansevero Chapel and its mysterious Veiled Christ. You’re going to meet the ghosts of Maria D’Avalos and her lover Fabrizio Carafa, who are still trying to find each other after five hundred years; and you’ll also meet the little monk, O’ Munaciell in Neapolitan, who lives in some old houses of the historical center.

As we say in Naples, ogni lasciat è pers which means if you miss an opportunity, there is no second chance. So, seize the day!

Visits will be presented by local tourist guide Silvana.
