THE (DANTESQUE) HELL OF PISA

LIGHTS AND SHADOWS OF A MARITIME REPUBLIC

A journey to discover the events that led the city of Pisa to live one of the darkest periods of its history, cruelly exposed in one of the main passages of the Divine Comedy: the hidden truth of Count Ugolino.

 

A trip among the marbles of Piazza dei Miracoli to experience the artistic evolution between the two and the fourteenth century, to Piazza dei Cavalieri, under the Tower of Fame.

 

We will visit the Monumental Cemetery, to experience the terror of Dante in front of the fresco of the Inferno by Buffalmacco.

THE EXTRAORDINARY UNIVERSE OF DANTE

HIS AMAZING TRIP FROM FLORENCE TO PARADISE

To commemorate the 700th anniversary of the death of the great Italian poet Dante Alighieri.

 

Two tour guides will take you on an extraordinary journey from Dante's Florentine origins, through his life and his mysterious relationship with a controversial muse, Beatrice, to reveal what’s concealed behind “the veil of the strange verses” of his Divine Comedy, the product of an astonishing mind.

ISLAND OF CULTS, MYTHS AND LEGENDS UNDER THE OPEN SKY

A project that aims to give a small contribution to the human impulse to discover new places and new concepts. We will try to give our interpretation through open-air works of arts created by man and by nature, the new and the old mix, because the time never dies and the circle is not round.

A virtual and interactive tour through the streets of Catania and its outskirts, where the works of man and nature give us a clear idea of all the beauty, poetry, art and life that have always inspired men.

THE BOND BETWEEN RAVENNA AND DANTE

PLACES, SUGGESTIONS, CELEBRATIONS

Seven hundred years after Dante Alighieri’s death, the strong sense of identity, towards the Supreme Poet, in which the inhabitants of the city recognize themselves, remains unchanged and can be perceived daily.

We will visit the significant places, remember the extraordinary Dante’s bones story and analyze the persistence of his figure in the collective imaginary, through the contemporary works of urban art.
